Stoneguard: Bridge Insurance Brokers

We at H.A. Green & Sons act locally for Bridge Insurance. We provide the information of the memorial stone and produce a Certificate of Insurance.

In the unfortunate event of a claim, the STONEGUARD team are able to help .  

As their representative we supply them with the necessary details of the costs for repair and attend to the necessary paperwork.

STONEGUARD cover is arranged exclusively by Bridge Insurance Brokers Ltd and is solely underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc. Cover is provided for a five year period for “All Risks” of loss or damage to your memorial headstone up to the replacement cost. Cover is also provided for liability in respect of injury to members of the public up to a limit of £ 2,000,000.

Significant exclusions

The insurance does not cover depreciation, wear and tear, the action of light, atmospheric conditions or other gradually operating cause or any process of cleaning repair, restoration and re-siting other than such costs involved following insured damage. The Policy also contains exclusions relating to terrorism, nuclear risks, sonic bangs, and war. Liability cover excludes injury to the Insured and certain family members.

Premiums

The premiums shown below are for a five year period. Cover is only for memorial headstones in cemeteries and churchyards and we regret that cover is not available outside the UK.

  • £1001 to £1250 – £75.00

  • £1501 to £1750 – £106.00
  • £1751 to £2000 – £122.00
  • £2001 to £2500 – £148.00
  • £2501 to £3250 – £174.00

The premiums shown may be subject to periodic review by Insurers.
